Kenwood House is presently under wraps. It’s not a Christo sculpture. It is undergoing a thorough refurbishment, £6 million of lottery funding and some from English Heritage. The collection of paintings is now on a tour of the USA.
Christopher Corr sent us this photograph from Hampstead Heath last Sunday, in the rain, very heavy rain. Luckily Kenwood was wearing a plastic raincoat. Chris went there to take in the view from Parliament Hill but I don’t think there was one. He was the only person there, and very wet, almost drowned. But secretly I think he enjoys painting in the rain.
